About do u think I can study fashion at Philadelphia, and later work at New York

Do u think I can study fashion at Philadelphia, and later work at New York?
I live at Philadelphia, and my mom wouldnt like me to move out of here and move to New York for college all by myself. Can I learn fashion marketing/merchandising at Philadelphia first, and then move to work in New York? Will I never be able to get a decent job position at New York, just becos I graduated at Philadelphia?

It has nothing to do where you graduated, its about your skills... you can graduate from anything you want and still get a job anywhere you want. all you need to have is good skills and show good performance in your work. Yes, you can learn it at your hometown and let on you can move to NY =D
